Description: Vintage 1969 Rupp Roadster Mini-Cycle 5.0 HP Tecumseh Engine, or (199CC) Pull Starter Headlight and Taillight 6 inch Wheels Extra Chrome on Bike and Engine Guard Two – Speed Jackshaft The Mini -Cycle frame has been powdered coated to original color of red and has a lot of extra chrome on the bike. It uses a four stroke 5 horse power Tecumseh engine. These Roadsters were designed by the Rupp Manufacturing Company and has great power in grass or hard surface. Once the jackshaft turned at a high enough RPM then the second centrifugal clutch on the jackshaft engaged and away you go. Very very unique gearing design. The equipment on the bike has an upswept seat, chrome handle bars, kill switch, front and rear tail light plus a chrome crash bar is included. Chrome exhaust pipe, Headlight assembly, gas tank, chain guard and front and rear fenders. The light system is not working due to the generator on the engine flywheel. A flat battery may be added under the engine frame area so lights will work. The tires are in very good shape, along with front and rear brakes, and suspension. The throttle consists of a twist-grip throttle on the right handlebar. The air-cooled H50 four stroke Tecumseh engine has a pull starter and has a chrome engine shroud along with a chrome air cleaner. Power from the engine is sent to the rear wheel via a Max Torque centrifugal clutch, an automatic two-speed jackshaft, and a drive chain. This mini-bike conveys on a bill of sale only. These bikes were made of the highest quality parts in 1969. Very good looking bikes that will turn people’s heads when you pass them.
