Vintage MCM New York City NYC Cityscape Impressionist Canvas Oil Painting Signed

Description: Up for auction is a fabulous mid century oil painting on canvas signed by the artist, A. Daimond. The frame measures 18 1/2" x 16 1/2" wide. The painting measures 8" x 10" wide. The painting depicts a cityscape skyline scene at the waterside which I believe is in New York City. Can that be the Pan Am building on the left and Empire state building in the middle from the 1960s? I am sure he took some artistic interpretation of building placements. It is in excellent vintage condition. The colors are bright and crisp and it has an impasto look. I tried to get the color correct, but I'm just an amateur in photography.
