Description: This fisherman's-friend Rigger Blade knife made by Sam McDowell is an absolutely incredible piece! This knife is in amazing condition…barely used so blade looks brand new! The handle scales are still in great shape, while being the main characteristic of this knife that makes it stand out. The handle scales on this Rigger Blade are made of scrimshaw, while depicting scenes of giant whales and an old sailboat. These two simple pieces tell an entire story within themselves. While there is no mention of Moby Dick, this knife certainly brings back nostalgic Melville vibes. The blade is a serrated saw edge wharncliffe-style blade made of surgical steel. This guy comes equipped with a locking marlin spike for all boating needs. It comes with a sheath that I assume is brown alligator leather.
