Certainly, the Black Max will be an excellent choice. It has a very light 2.25 lb. pull that is super smooth without any trigger play. It all depends what kind of shooting you are doing. If you are shooting paper at the range, the Black Max is the way to go. But if you are small game hunting, then a heavier trigger 2.75 lbs. to 3.50 lbs. would better for more control. A 3.50 lb. trigger is not heavy.
