Description: Up for sale is a beautiful antique glass MINIATURE OIL LAMP, made by Consolidated Lamp & Glass Co. The pattern is called DAISY, aka COSMOS. It's the same pattern as Consolidated's Wild Rose, but for their line of lamps, the company chose the name Daisy instead. It comes complete with the lamp base, shade, burner, and chimney. Base and shade are made of clear milk glass, with raised-relief floral details. The burner is a early P&A MFG Acorn and the chimney is clear glass. All parts appear to be original. The Cosmos pattern was introduced in 1896. The lamp stands 9 1/4" inches tall when assembled. The shade measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 4" fitter end. and the base is 3 3/4 inches across the widest part. Pictured in Smith's book on miniature oil lamps on page 134 Fig. 286 in milk glass. Lamp is in good to excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. This item will need a new wick the wheel is not stripped out but for some reason the wick will not go up and down smoothly
