This Model KB 5153 keyboard is recognized as standard 5-pin AT and has been tested with a 486 AT system running DOS. This unit is heavy duty plastic and metal construction and features a very unique trackpad. TESTING: This unit was tested generally functional using DOS, where every number and letter key was found to correctly type. Within the computer's BIOS, the trackpad was found to work as a sequential selector, moving right and left through the BIOS setting like arrow keys. This unit has NOT been tested in Windows and likely requires special drivers to setup the trackpad through a normal AT connection. CONDITION: This unit can be considered in "better than average" condition compared to most AT-style keyboards, with only very light yellowing and no heavy grime or damage to keys or chassis. TERMS: THIS IS A UNIQUE/WEIRD RETRO KEYBOARD WITH A NON-STANDARD LAYOUT AND A VERY NON-STANDARD TRACKPAD. This unit is offered as a curiosity to collectors and keyboard enthusiasts and will likely require special drivers or some tech fiddling to get all features, especially the trackpad, functional. This is not a modern keyboard and does not haver a standard IBM layout.
