Miscellaneous Railroad Company # 68Coach-IHCHW Our interior kits are designed to make your passenger cars LOOK THIER BEST !!!The interior accommodates the door and window locations. There are notches and holes in the floor to fit around the various protrusions in the IHC 85ft Heavyweight Coach.The injection marks in the center of the car floor need to be removed and smoothed. There may be a little trimming, sanding or filing involved. The interior has 34 double coach seats for a total of 68 seats. Note: the IHC advertising denotes a 78 seat coach; we do not feel that number is practical. The sample pictures are of an unpainted interior. The product is manufactured from tan aliphatic polyester resin and can be painted. The seats are low, to allow for the installation of an LSW100 or LSW118 underneath for car weight.(Lead sheet is not included in the kit)NOTE: Miniature passengers ARE NOT include with your purchase! The passenger’s feet and legs have to be trimmed. You can see the passengers through the windows; not their butts. Standing people should have their feet trimmed because the floor is also high. The walls are low enough so that lighting may be added. An instruction sheet is included with every purchase. Please note: LSW products are not included in the interior kits. NMRA RP20 weight for this car (10 1/4 inches) ≈ 6.6oz. The test car weight = 9 inches of LSW100 yields 6.6oz with the original trucks. Assembled Length of the Interior = 9 7/8 inches; Width: 1 1/8th inch; Height = 21mm Weight of the Interior = .9oz. PLEASE NOTE: Each of our car interiors are made to fit specific passenger cars as described. Our interiors are generic; we are not following a specific prototype railroad floor plan. We take into account window placement of the passenger cars and any protrusions or obstructions inside the specific car. We strive to get it right so your cars will look their best.
