The fabric is a high end cotton velvet with mixed fabrics in pieced section. The colors are black, browns and gold. There is a gold, black and taupe decorative cord and hidden zipper closure. The insert/padding is synthetic. There are two areas on the back where the velvet looks crushed in certain lights - see photos were I point directly to one of them. Dry clean only.
