Here we have an authentic 1920s short combination slip or teddy made from a an off-white silk satin material. The front neckline features an insert of elaborate floral lace. The thighs also have this same lace inserted panel. The hemline is trimmed with a ruffled net lace. There is fabric between the legs that fastens with snaps, however on snap is missing. This piece is in fair condition for its age, however there are a few spots where the silk is shattering. This is most significant at the underarms and on the left hip.
