I DID NOT PAINT IT AND HAVE NO IDEA OF ANY BODY WORK..I HAVE SHOWN A COUPLE OF SPOTS THAT I SEE, BUT WE BELIEVE THIS TO BE A VERY SOLID FENDER AS IS CLEAR BY THE WAY THE ALMOST ALL OF THE ATTACHING BOLTS LOOK INSIDE FENDER AREA.BY NO MEANS IS THIS AN ORIGINAL PAINT DENT FREE RUST FREE FENDER, OF COURSE IF THAT WAS THE CASE THE FENDER WOULD BE 2500! BUT IT IS 55 YEARS OLD AND IT APPEARS TO BE VERY STRAIGHT AND RELATIVELY CLEAN.NOTE THAT IT IS DOES HAVE THE TRIM STRIP AT THE TOP SO IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT MOLDING THEN YOU WILL NEED TO CLOSE THOSE HOLES WE BELIEVE THIS TO BE A QUALITY PIECE FOR A FENDER THAT IS NOT REPRODUCED AS FAR AS I KNOW.there is a shield/bracket way up in the front of the fender underneath and this small piece is not included with the fenderREAD THE SHIPPING TERMS PLEASE.LOCAL PICKUP IS AN OPTION BUT I WILL SHIP THIS.due to size and careful packing i will be shipping this forward air to the closest major airport to you that is serviced by forward air..these are place like st. louis san fran philly boston miami denver los angeles dallas austin and the list goes on and on, but they are major airports and areas not your county air strip.the lid must be picked up within 48 hours of arrival at the facility or there will be addItional storage charges..the shipping will be 225.00 and again you will pick it up at forward air closest to your location at the terminal.
