Description: This is a big deal for three reasons: classic Suburbans are rare, the 1957 Chevy truck is a one-year-only model, and the paint was done by the famous House of Color and pinstriped by the world-famous Bob Taylor. The restoration was done about 24 years ago and was chopped about 2.5 inches and was originally built to drag race. It has a 1974 Camaro front clip with disc brakes. I’ve had it for over 3 yrs and have met both of the previous owners since restoration to get that part of the history. The previous owner installed a crate 350 and Billet Specialty pulley system and 400 turbo transmission which now has approx. 14K miles on both. We do a lot of long-hauls to car shows all over. During our ownership, we have installed NEW: 3:08 gear rear end, axles and bearings, front and rear brakes, gas tank and lines, drag link bar and alignment, Flowmaster mufflers and tailpipes, American Racing chrome wheels, tires staggered 20x8 front and 20x10 rear, purple underbody LED remote lights and interior mood lights for nighttime activities, and Autometer gauge pod. It has power windows, a power driver’s seat, Vintage Air AC/heat, a custom built roof rack, and a custom California Car Cover. It has Dakota Digital remote door poppers that opens the driver’s and barn back doors as well as both the windows on the driver’s and passenger’s sides. It has passed the NSRA Safety Inspection. It runs, rides, and drives great. I have uploaded four short walk-around videos on my youtubechannel: chericopeland867I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. If you like to attend distant car shows and want lots of room for your scooter, cooler, chairs, shade tent, luggage, and friends, this is the vehicle for you. We’re selling due to having too many vehicles and projects at this time. No trades. I have a bank lien on it, through JJBest (a top classic car finance co) so payment will your bank wire and you’ll have the title in 2-3wks (I’ve sold this way many times, and should you want to finance it through them, it's a quick and easy loan transfer), unless you pay with a check, which will take longer due to my bank putting a hold on it. It’s located in North Central Florida where I-10 meets I-75. Buyer pays shipping and can be arranged after funds have cleared my account. Inspections are welcomed. This is my lowest price. Don't wait for me to relist it, I will not relist it on here and is listed for sale elsewhere and this ad will be removed early if it sells. My phone is 386-six eight eight-0522.
