Fascinating and prescient view of how the east would rise in power. The communist threat is at its earliest stages. Book has multiple maps. Though in my view it does not detract from the book greatly there is very neatly penciled and penned marginalia and underlined passages throughout many of the pages of the book by a past academic owner. In my opinion the marginalia's comments make it more interesting to read. Other than that the book is in very nice shape for being 72 years old. Because of the writing within the book, this book is being sold as-is.
