Description: I have here for sale a book entitled AN ILLUSTRATED ITINERARY OF THE COUNTY OF LANCASTER. First edition published by How and Parsons, London in 1842. It has 4 b/w plates, a b/w map of the county and has in-text b/w illustrations throughout. The plates are of Ulverston Sands, Preston, Liverpool, and Lancaster. Dark brown hardboards with gilt lettering to the spine. Small tears to the head and tail and corners are quite worn. Frontispiece, title page, map and first 2 pages of text are detached. All others firm and clean, just the odd smudge. Condition: fair/good. 230 pages, 26 x 17 cm. If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money.
