100 bd ft 6/4 Poplar Lumber, KD, S2S, Selects & better, 8' Lengths

Green, Urban Forester/Sawyer I’m located in Northern Indiana, directly in the heart of the Central Hardwood Forest, known for its great diversity of hardwood trees (188 native and introduced species). My business is obtaining logs from unwanted trees; yard trees, highway projects, storm damage, etc., and producing high-grade kiln-dried hardwood and softwood lumber. Mine is a home-based business utilizing a Wood-Mizer portable bandsaw mill and three solar-powered drying kilns. Most of my lumber goes directly from the kiln to the planer where it is surfaced two sides then sold primarily to building contractors, smaller production shops and amateur woodworkers. This will take a bit of time, so if you are looking for something not yet listed contact me and I’ll get it listed right away. 100 bd. ft. 6/4 Poplar This is tulip or yellow poplar which has whitish sapwwod and green heartwood which turns brown after a time. Poplar is know for its ease of workability and its outstanding paintability. Please note that the photos are representative and will most likely not be the material that you will receive. The photos may even be a different thickness lumber than the listed material. They are meant to show the grade and general appearance of the species. Specifications: Species: Liriodendron tulipifera Grain orientation: Flatsawn. Grade: Selects & Better Thickness: Rough-surfaced to 1-7/16”. Widths: Primarily 5 – 10”. Length: 10' Kiln dried to 6%, now in unheated/non-dehumidified storage and will be somewhat higher. Estimated weight: 300 pounds. This lot is priced at my normal, “less than retail” price, less 10% for 100 bd. ft. quantity. Your purchase will be available for immediate pick up at no charge. The material is guaranteed to be the advertised grade and no sorting will be permitted. Sorting for specific widths, grain pattern, color, etc., may result in additional charges. In other words, you are buying the boards right off the top of the stack. I can ship via freight at the actual freight cost plus a $50.00 palletizing fee. Another option is www.uship.com where you list the item for shipping and drivers bid on it. I’ve used it and it’s very reasonable and dependable. For freight shipments add 100 pounds for the pallet. I’ll be happy to assist in a freight quote if you supply your zip code and other specifics – delivery to a business or residence, fork lift or loading dock at the delivery location, etc. Pick up is preferred! Please note that shipping 200 board feet will increase the price, but won’t double it. Likewise, shipping only 50 board feet won’t cut the price in half.
